About
Bledri Raiment

Shannon is a Toronto-based designer and seamstress, running Bledri Raiment since 2023. She’s been sewing since she was 10, taught by her Welsh grandmother at a kitchen table stacked with vintage fabrics. Raised on a dairy farm in rural Alberta and later moving to Toronto, she brings a grounded work ethic to couture-level craft. In the studio, Shannon focuses on bespoke bridal, sample development, small-batch manufacturing, and precision alterations—known for exacting fit, clean finishes, and reliable timelines.

Before opening Bledri Raiment, Shannon led production and operations at acclaimed fashion houses: Operations Manager at Ines Di Santo’s couture atelier; Production/Alterations coordination at Kleinfeld Hudson’s Bay in Toronto; outerwear manufacturing experience at Canada Goose; and an early career start at Lida Baday’s celebrated ready-to-wear label. Those years have shaped the way Shannon builds garments now: thoughtful, durable, beautifully made, and designed to be lived in.

What does the name mean?

The name "Bledri Raiment" honors both Shannon's heritage and her craft.

"Bledri" is Welsh for "wolf ruler" and pays tribute to her grandmother's Welsh roots.

"Raiment" is a 1920s term for custom clothing establishments and reflects her love for that golden era of fashion.

The logo for Bledri Raiment is designed by local Toronto graphic design studio Doublenaut , and features a wolf with a needle, captures this vintage aesthetic that influences her work today.
